On this page, we have created a gallery of our decking projects.
As always, we only use top quality materials, prepare the ground and base meticulously and we aLwaYs bolt and screw components together, we NEVER nail them.
We always use tanalized timber for the deck framework, and build with 150mm x 50mm timber to give a firm foundation, less likely to flex underfoot.
All cut ends of the boards are re-treated with timber preservative.
Part of a recent project.
the photographs above, to the left, and below show a split level decking area incorporating a lower deck over a reinforced concrete base supporting a hot tub and an upper barbecue and leisure area.
The decking project below is an interesting one.
This property has a brook running through the rear garden and the brief was to create a decking area overlooking it.
The job involved diverting the brook in order to build a concrete fence and the construction of a reinforced concrete retaining wall behind it with integral land drainage then Backfill with clean stone and construct a deck area above.
A smaller, but still quite complex project requiring planning permission.
